Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

I checked in first and someone who came in after me went in before me.

Please bear in mind that there are multiple doctors working in our clinic with different schedules. Other reasons that some patients may need to be seen sooner is because of urgent illnesses such as babies with high fever, chest pain and a severe injury. We attempt to be fair to everyone and should an emergency arise for you, you would be treated in the same manner.

I asked for a referral to be done and have heard nothing yet.

For the majority of referrals, we fax the referral to the specialist’s office and have to wait weeks to months a lot of the time to hear back from them for an appointment date. Our staff work diligently to try to get urgent referrals in a timely manner. If you have not heard about your appointment and would like to find out status please contact the office.

Is the clinic accepting new patients?

Currently we are not accepting new patients nor are we maintaining a waiting list. However you can check back with us from time to time.

I have already seen my results online and the doctor’s office has called me in. Do I still need to come?

It is highly recommended that you do not interpret your own results. If the doctor has called you in, there is a very good reason for the meeting to discuss the results and what it actually means for your health.
